Eli was the youngest of four boys in the Grow family. He loved the outdoors, sports, and spending time with his brothers and friends. Eli always smiled at everyone…he was known for his smile.
Eli was a determined and self-driven athlete requiring no pushing by his parents to excel in academics and football. Eli spent countless hours after football practice working on various skills for a quarterback. He was known for arriving at the football field at 5:30 AM before school and staying until 10 PM practicing football. Eli attended specialized training in Franklin, TN twice a week to work on quarterback conditioning skills. Eli cared for his younger teammates often spending time with them training after football practice.
He became the quarterback of the Tullahoma High School Wildcats, playing in all four years of high school. Before committing to becoming a Mississippi College Choctaw, Eli dreamed of providing a world-class athletic experience to his teammates and friends in the surrounding Middle Tennessee area.
