Eli Grow was known for his character. On the football field, in the classroom, or anywhere else - his work ethic was unmatched, and his reputation was known. The #8 Jersey on the Tullahoma High School Football team, Eli’s jersey, became synonymous with these characteristics. And shortly after Eli’s death, that jersey was retired from the team in his honor.

But Eli wasn’t only concerned with his own success. He was a leader, and he encouraged his teammates to be better. So it is only fitting that this narrative continues, with the top skill player having the opportunity to honor Eli by wearing his number.
